The app works by using your wireless network connection to connect the Android application to a PC client. It allows you to control some (but not all) popular PC driving games such as F1 2012, Live For Speed, and SimRaceway. Bluetooth connectivity is planned for a future release, as is support for Windows 8 and Mac OS X. Currently, only Windows Vista and 7 32- and 64-bit are supported.
Obviously, your mobile device needs an accelerometer for this to work, and it needs to be running Android 2.3 or newer. There are numerous other features planned for future releases, as this is still in beta at the moment, so don’t expect flawless functionality. However, for those of you looking for a simple solution to clunky keyboard-based driving controls, this is well worth a look.
