Windows PC owners will undoubtedly be familiar with the Task
Manager’s performance and network graphs that calculate CPU, RAM, and
network status in real time. Unfortunately, this feature isn’t native to
Android, with the closest thing being the battery statistics accessible
through settings. So instead of putting up with its absence, XDA Forum
Member iattilagy decided to put together a free app that provides such statistics and data.
Named Usemon, the app presents itself with a comfortable Holo-themed
interface that’s color coded and logical in navigation. By sliding
between pages, you’ll be able to see the following statistics as real
time graphs:
- CPU usage
- CPU frequency
- Ram usage
- Network upload and download status
- Internal, external and system storage status
For devices multiple core CPUs, there are individual graphs for each
core, displaying their respective statistics. Additional information
about your CPU such as your processor type, CPU architecture variant and
revision are also displayed in a separate page.
Another standout feature of Usemon that iattilagy has integrated is
the display of real time statistics of that data in the notification
area, along with their corresponding graphs. Settings allow for this to
be turned off, as well as customized to display select data.

application thread for more information.
