Android
is a smartphone operating system
designed by Google. Android-based
phones can run applications, make and receive calls and stream
multimedia. One common function of Android phones is their ability to
manage multiple email accounts. Android allows you to send and receive
emails from more than one account, meaning you may need to occasionally
change the default email account.
Instructions
-
- 1. Open your email application. Though each Android phone is different, all possess a shortcut to your email application.
-
2. Press the email account you want to make your default. Once pressed, the email inbox will open on your screen.
-
3. Press your menu button. This will open a list of options.
-
4. Press "Settings." Doing so will open up several account
settings that, once set, will be applied only to the specific email
account selected.
-
5. Select the "Use as Default?" box. Pressing this box will
cause a check mark to appear in the box. Once selected, this email
account will be your default email account, and all emails will send
from this account.
